Mumbai Bureau report 25th November 2015: The search for one of the Managing Directors has begun in
Life Insurance Corporation (India) (LIC) which is an Indian state-owned insurance group and investment company headquartered in Mumbai. It is the largest insurance company in India with an estimated asset value of ₹1560482 crore (US$230 billion)

The present three MD’s of LIC are
S B Manaik, V K Sharma and Ms. Usha Sangwan, now the search is on for the forth MD.
However the main cantenders for this post comes from the very back ground of LIC only.
