Mansukh Laxmanbhai Mandaviya, the Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways tweeted: Marshalling efforts in the fight against COVID-19, @JNPort handled 150.23 MT medical O2 consignment brought from Kuwait via Jebel Ali, UAE.
JNPT- APM Terminal handled three medical grade oxygen filled in croygenic containers and six box containers (with oxygen cylinders) in the vessel mv. Nagoya Tower of AXS service with total quantity 150.23MT. All nine containers discharged at 0530hrs to 0715 hrs on 15/05/2021. All the containers are loaded in Kuwait to India via jebel Ali ,UAE through transhipment.The vessel operator is Tranworld shipping Agencies Pvt.Limited .Medical grade oxygen will be used to overcome current pandemic situation in the country.
