BJP’s Senior Leader Arif Baig dies in Bhopal

As per reports he will be laid to rest today in the evening. Arif Baig was a former Union Minister in 1977–1980. Baig was considered an active senior leader of Bharatiya Janta Party. He hails from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. He had left the party in 1996 however returned to it in 2003.In 1977 he ran for parliament on the Bharatiya Lok Dal ticket from Bhopal and won the seat. In 1989 he was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Betul constituency.
