Govt. of India has issued orders for more then four dozen Independent Director in PSUs here us a list of Independent Director appointed on PSUs.

1. HAL gets four non-official Directors
V Somasundaran, Arun Kumar Sinha, Dr J K Bajaj, Raghu Menon have been appointed as non-official Directors on the Board of HAL.

2. IOCL gets six Ind Directors
B Mahadevan, Dharmendra Singh Shekhawat, Jagdish Kishwan, Sankar Chakraborti, Vinoo Mathur and Vivek Rae have been appointed as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of IOCL.

3. SAIL gets two Independent Directors
Kartar Singh Chauhan and Narendera Kumar Taneja have been appointed as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of SAIL.

4. RINL gets two Independent Directors
Ashwini Mehra and Shankar Sharan have been appointed as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of RINL.

5. Bahram Navroj Vakil appointed as Ind Director, NMDC
Bahram Navroj Vakil has been appointed as Non-official Independent Director on the Board of NMDC.

6. MTNL gets four Independent Directors
Chinmay Basu, K G Gokulchandran, Mrs G Padmaja Reddy and Mrs Suneeta Trivedi have been appointed as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of MTNL.

7. BSNL gets two Independent Directors
Prof Jasbir Singh and V Venkateshwar Bhat have been appointed as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of BSNL.

8. Sunil Sachdeva appointed as Ind Director, BLC
Sunil Sachdeva has been appointed as Non-official Independent Director on the Board of BLC.

9. Mrs Sundharam appointed as Ind Director, BPCL
Mrs J M Shanti Sundharam has been appointed as Non-official Independent Director on the Board of BPCL.

10. Rajesh Kumar Gogna appointed as Ind Director, EIL
Rajesh Kumar Gogna has been appointed as Non-official Independent Director on the Board of EIL.

11. GAIL gets two Independent Directors
Jayanto Narayan Choudhury and Rahul Mukherjee have been appointed as as Non-official Independent Directors on the Board of GAIL.

12. HPCL gets two Ind Directors

15. NTPC gets five Non-official Directors.
