CIL EXTENDS Rs. 50.32 CRORES SUPPORT TO RESTORE POWER TRANSMISSION LINES IN ODISHA

Coal India Ltd., in a new CSR initiative has extended a support of Rs. 50.32 crores to Odisha State Disaster Management Authority , Govt. of Odisha for restoration of three 220 KV and two 132 KV damaged power transmission lines and for restructuring of transmission lines damaged by Cyclone Fani at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri. Sumanta Chaudhuri, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India & Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, CIL, presented the cheque to Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha. Ashish Upadhyay, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal and B.N. Shukla, CMD, Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. were present on the occasion
