Northern Coal Fields Ltd (NCL) received an award for excellence in GST compliance and significant contributions to the exchequer on the eve of the 7th GST Day Celebration at Jabalpur.

CMD and Functional Directors of the company congratulated the NCL taxation team for their hard work and dedication.

The award was presented by Principal Commissioner (Income Tax) Shantum Bose and Manager (Finance), NCL Dr. Hemant Sindhwani received the honor on behalf of NCL.

During the 7th GST Day celebration, awards were bestowed upon the top ten taxpayers in the Madhya Pradesh Zone. NCL was recognized as the leading GST payer in this zone, having contributed Rs. 6362.28 crore in the Financial Year 2023-24, comprising Rs. 5204.39 crore via Cash Ledger and Rs. 1157.89 crore through Input Tax Credit.
