Confluence of Investment and Innovation on the Banks of Narmada: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to Inaugurate 6th Regional Industry Conclave
Bhopal, December 6, 2024: In a significant move to position Madhya Pradesh as a hub for industrial development and employment, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the 6th Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) in Narmadapuram on December 7, 2024. Over 4,000 registrations have already been received for the event, which will feature 3,000 representatives from MSMEs, 75 prominent investors, and delegates from five international nations, including Canada, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Mexico, and Malaysia.

The conclave will host a series of sectoral sessions focusing on the state’s industrial policies, investment incentives, and opportunities available to MSMEs. During the event, Dr. Yadav will perform the virtual groundbreaking and inauguration of several industrial projects, and land allotment letters will be distributed to investors. Additionally, one-on-one meetings will take place, where over 10 major investors will present their future plans. Other sessions will explore themes like ‘How to Start Exports’ and ‘Investment Opportunities in Tourism’. A roundtable discussion will specifically focus on renewable energy.

The theme of the conclave, ‘New Horizons, New Possibilities’, emphasizes the state’s push to expand its industrial landscape. Narmadapuram, renowned for its religious, cultural, and natural heritage, is emerging as a promising industrial center, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, dairy, food processing, renewable energy, tourism, and textiles.

A major highlight of the event will be an exhibition showcasing local products, featuring more than 60 stalls, with a focus on MSMEs, tourism, handicrafts development corporations, and banking institutions, along with the One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative. These stalls aim to provide vital information and play a significant role in helping local products gain global recognition.

The Regional Industry Conclave is part of the state’s ‘Industry Year 2025’ initiative, which aims to economically and industrially empower every region of Madhya Pradesh. Following successful events in Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, and Rewa, this conclave will further highlight the regional potential on both the national and international stages. It is expected to enhance the industrial profile of Narmadapuram and strengthen the collaboration between investors and the government.
