R. K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC limited has been facilitated with “Life Time Achievement Award for Hydropower” by Enertia Foundation for his Significant Contributions to the Hydropower Sector in particular and development of PSPs and other Renewable Energy progressed in unprecedented terms under his leadership at NHPC. NHPC has also been conferred with ‘INDIA’s Best Hydro & Renewable Energy Public Sector Enterprise Award” by Enertia Foundation for its more than 7 GW Capacity Renewable Energy Projects with 28 Power Stations and plans to expand Renewable Energy Projects aiming at 23GW by 2032 and for its aggressive forays into the Pump Storage Project’s domain. These awards were received by Amitabh Jha, GGM (Electrical) & Rajjapan K., GGM (Civil) respectively on behalf of CMD, NHPC during the ‘PRAKASHmay 17th ENERTIA Awards 2024 Ceremony’ held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on 20th December 2024.
