During the Selection for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), PESB interfaced a dozen candidates including Directors and EDs for OIL companies. Finally the Board did not recommend any candidate for the post and advised the Administrative
Ministry/Department to choose an appropriate course of further action for selection including the Search cum Selection Committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent authority.

PESB has recommended the name of Hari Kumar R. for the post of Director (Research & Development), in Bharat Electronics Limited. He is General Manager Technology Planning in Bharat Electronics Limited. As many as seven candidates were interfaced for this interview.

The name of Ajit Kumar Mishra was recommended by the PESB for the post of Director (Works), IRCON International Limited., after the Board interviewed eleven candidates. Ajit Kumar Mishra is Executive Director Contract Management, Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation
Of India Limited.

PESB has recommended Sachidananda Maharana’s name for the post of Director (Finance), Numaligarh Refinery Limited.
He is Chief General Manager Chief (F&A), Oil India limited.
