Aditya Pratap Singh, an IPS officer of the 2011 batch from Madhya Pradesh, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Delhi. His selection follows a recommendation by the Ministry of Home Affairs for central deputation. Singh will serve in this role for a period of five years, starting from the date he assumes charge, or until further instructions. He is expected to take up his new assignment soon after being relieved of his current duties.
