A series of key appointments have been announced across various government ministries and the private sector. Praveen Singh Adhayach, IAS, has been appointed as Private Secretary to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development. Several other IAS officers, including Masroor Ahmad, P Siva Sankar, Prakash Rajpurohit, Laya Madduri, and Smitha Mol M S, have been assigned new roles across ministries like Economic Affairs, Rural Development, Civil Aviation, and Youth Affairs for varying terms. Additionally, Salil Kumar has been appointed Director in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, and Shruti Singhal in the National Recruitment Agency. In the private sector, Mythili Balasubramanian has been named Interim MD and CEO at Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company, while Amy Coleman will take over as Chief People Officer at Microsoft. Smt. Parminder Chopra has also been given the additional charge of REC Ltd. for three months.

– Praveen Singh Adhayach, IAS (MP:2012) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, at the level of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Rural Development for a period of five years.

– Masroor Ahmad, IA&AS (2015) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi, for a period of four years.

– P Siva Sankar, IAS (MH:2011) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Rural Development, Delhi, under the CSS for a period of five years.

– Prakash Rajpurohit, IAS (RJ:2010) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi, for a period of five years.

– Ms. Laya Madduri, IAS (AM:2010) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi, for a period of five years.

– Ms. Smitha Mol M S, IAS (TR:2013) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Delhi, for a period of four years.

– Salil Kumar, IOFS (2007) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Delhi, for a period up to November 20, 2027.

– Ms. Shruti Singhal, IRAS (2011) has been appointed as Director, National Recruitment Agency, for a period up to May 23, 2028.

– Aditya Pratap Singh, IPS (2011) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Delhi, for a period of five years, following a recommendation by the Ministry of Home Affairs for central deputation.

– Smt. Parminder Chopra, the CMD of Power PFC to hold the additional charge of REC Ltd., for three months as per GoI orders.

– Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company (EARC) has appointed Mythili Balasubramanian as the Interim Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, until September 30.

– Microsoft has announced that Amy Coleman will replace Kathleen Hogan as the company’s Chief People Officer, as the tech giant rethinks its performance review process.
