The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas’ proposal to appoint Shri H. Shankar, Director (Technical) at Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), as the new Managing Director (MD) of CPCL. Shri Shankar’s appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge of the position and will continue until his superannuation on March 31, 2029.
