SJVNL Disburses Rs 121 Crore Interim Dividend to HP Govt.

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (SJVNL) has paid an interim dividend of Rs 121.33 crore to the Himachal Pradesh Government for the financial year 2024-25. The cheque was handed over to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) at SJVNL.
Sharma stated that the company had declared a total interim dividend of Rs 451.93 crore for FY 2024-25. Of this, Rs 248.55 crore has been paid to the Central Government and Rs 82.05 crore to public shareholders. The Himachal Pradesh Government holds a 26.85% stake in the company, while the Central Government owns 55%, and the remaining 18.15% is held by the public.
Highlighting SJVNL’s growth trajectory, Sharma mentioned that the company is currently executing 95 power projects across India and Nepal. With an installed capacity of 2,708.27 MW, SJVNL’s total project portfolio stands at 66,107.4 MW. The company aims to expand its capacity to 25,000 MW by 2030 and 50,000 MW by 2040, aligning with national energy goals and sustainability targets.
