In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Delhi Police has announced a series of key transfers and postings involving senior IPS officers and DANIPS officers. The changes include appointments in top leadership roles across various departments such as Housing, Provisioning, Vigilance, EOW, Security, and Armed Police, as well as adjustments at the Joint Commissioner and Additional DCP levels. The reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency and align resources with evolving operational needs.

Delhi Police Transfers & Postings – Key Appointments:

Rajesh Khurana (IPS, 1994 batch) – Appointed as Special CP, Delhi Police Housing Corporation (DPHC) after returning from Central Reserve Police Force.

Neeraj Thakur (IPS, 1994 batch) – Transferred as Special CP (Provisioning) and given additional charge of Vigilance Department. He was earlier Special CP, DPHC.

Garima Bhatnagar (Special CP) – Appointed as Chief of Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

Sarad Agrawal (Special CP, EOW) – Transferred as Director General (DG), Mizoram.

Madhur Verma (Joint CP) – Appointed as Joint CP, Central Range, filling the vacancy left by B. Shankar Jaiswal’s move to Lakshadweep.

Dheeraj Kumar (Joint CP, Delhi Police Academy) – Appointed as Joint CP, Armed Police.

M.N. Tiwari – Appointed as Joint CP, Security.

A.V. Deshpande (Joint CP, PCR and Communication) – Given additional charge of Licensing Division in the same capacity.

Nupur Prasad – Appointed as Joint CP, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

DANIPS Officers Appointed as Additional DCPs:

Jagdev Singh – Appointed as Additional DCP, East District.

Sunil – Appointed as Additional DCP, Northwest District.

Abhishek Gupta – Appointed as Additional DCP, Security.
