In a notable move towards women empowerment, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has launched a unique initiative by making its Rajendra Nagar Dispensary entirely operated by women. This landmark step reinforces CCL’s ongoing efforts to promote gender inclusivity in the workplace while ensuring quality healthcare for its employees and their families.

The inauguration ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and marked by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque by Nilendu Kumar Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL. Director (Human Resources) Harshnath Mishra and other senior officials were also present to witness this progressive development.

The all-women dispensary will have female staff handling every aspect of its operations, including the Outpatient Department (OPD), pharmacy, and dressing room. This approach not only provides a platform for women professionals to lead from the front but also ensures a more inclusive and empathetic environment for patients, especially female beneficiaries.

This initiative is a reflection of CCL’s strong commitment to both employee welfare and gender empowerment. By integrating women into key functional roles in healthcare delivery, CCL is setting a benchmark for public sector undertakings to follow.
