ACC Approves Apex Pay Scale for Two Senior IPS Officers

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Ministry of Home Affairs’ proposal to grant the Apex pay scale (Level-17) to two senior IPS officers. Alok Sharma (UP:1991), Director, SPG, and G P Singh (AM:1991), DG, CRPF, have been granted the scale with immediate effect. Sharma retires on 30.06.2026, and Singh on 30.11.2027.

H. Krishnanunni, IAS, Prematurely Repatriated to Parent Cadre

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the premature repatriation of H. Krishnanunni, IAS (TN:2012), Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & IT (Jitin Prasada), on personal grounds. He has been relieved from the Ministry of Electronics & IT with the provision of “extended cooling off” to report to his parent cadre immediately.
