The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared several appointments and extensions under the Central Staffing Scheme:

Anand Mohan appointed as Joint Managing Director, NAFED
The competent authority has approved the appointment of Anand Mohan, IRTS (2012), as Joint Managing Director (Cooperation & IT), National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED), New Delhi, at Deputy Secretary level. He will serve on deputation under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for four years or until further orders.

Kapil Verma’s Central deputation tenure extended
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas to extend the Central deputation tenure of Kapil Verma (IDSE:2004), Director in the Ministry, for two years beyond 03.01.2026 and up to 03.01.2028, or until further orders.

Arun G. appointed Deputy Secretary in Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
Arun G., IES (2012), recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme, for a period of four years or until further orders.

Rahul Pachori’s tenure extended in School Education & Literacy
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of Central deputation tenure of Rahul Pachori, IRSEE (2010), Director in the Department of School Education & Literacy, for two years beyond 14.01.2026 and up to 14.01.2028.

Tiakala Lynda Yaden gets extension of additional charge in EPFO
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given ex-post facto approval for entrustment of additional charge of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO), Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), to Tiakala Lynda Yaden (IP&TA&FS:1994), Financial Commissioner (JS level), ESIC. She will continue in the role for six months w.e.f. 09.08.2025 after an initial three-month term.

Sameer Pandey’s deputation tenure extended in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of Central deputation tenure of Sameer Pandey, IRS (C&CE:2010), Joint Commissioner (Director level), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the Department of School Education & Literacy, for two years beyond 05.11.2025.

Ambica Anand appointed Director in Ministry of Steel
Ambica Anand, ISS (2009), has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Steel, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. Recommended by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, she will serve for five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders.

Neeraj Surendran appointed Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Skill Development
Neeraj Surendran, IDAS (2015), has taken charge as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship under the Central Staffing Scheme. Recommended by the Department of Defence, he will serve a four-year deputation tenure from the date of assuming charge of the post.

Premature repatriation of Khwairakpam Pratap Singh from NEEPCO
The government has approved the premature repatriation of Khwairakpam Pratap Singh, IRPS (2000), Chief Vigilance Officer of NEEPCO, Shillong, to his parent cadre on personal grounds. The decision follows the Ministry of Power’s Office Memorandum dated September 22, 2020.

Shailesh Kumar given additional charge at Kolkata Metro
Shailesh Kumar, IRSE, CE (O&M) Metro Railway Kolkata, has been assigned additional charge as Director (P&P) of Kolkata Metro Railway Corporation Ltd. (KMRCL) pending Competent Authority approval. The assignment will continue until project completion, his superannuation, or further orders from the Ministry.

Sijshil R Gaikwad appointed Investment Advisor, Maharashtra
