Two IPS Officers Inducted as Superintendents of Police in CBI

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Competent Authority has approved the induction of two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers as Superintendents of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Ashutosh Singh, IPS (Chhattisgarh cadre, 2012 batch), and Saurabh Gupta, IPS (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories cadre, 2018 batch), have been appointed to the post. They will assume their new responsibilities upon taking charge at the CBI.
Their induction is expected to further strengthen the investigative capabilities of the CBI with their field experience and professional acumen.
