Currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Aggarwal will hold this dual responsibility with immediate effect.

The move ensures continuity and seamless functioning in the Ministry of Tourism until Srivatsa Krishna, IAS (KN:1994), assumes charge as the new Secretary. Aggarwal, known for his strategic leadership and administrative depth, is expected to steer key tourism initiatives during this transitional phase, especially as India continues to expand its cultural and tourism diplomacy on the global stage.
