Approval has been granted for extension of the entrusted financial and administrative powers of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC-Re), to Hitesh Ramesh Chandra Joshi, Executive Director, GIC-Re, for a further three months from January 1, 2026, or until a regular CMD is appointed, whichever is earlier.
