Republic Day Parade 2026 Results Announced: Indian Navy, Delhi Police and Maharashtra Among Top Performers

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Republic Day Parade 2026 once again emerged as a vibrant showcase of India’s discipline, diversity and democratic spirit, with the announcement of results for the best marching contingents and tableaux adding further pride to the grand national celebration.

The Indian Navy was adjudged the Best Marching Contingent among the three Services, earning acclaim for its immaculate drill, synchronised movements and impressive display of maritime strength. The contingent reflected the Navy’s professionalism, operational readiness and commitment to safeguarding India’s maritime interests.

In the category of Central Armed Police Forces and other auxiliary forces, Delhi Police secured the top honour. Their crisp formation, confident march and disciplined presentation highlighted the force’s vital role in maintaining internal security and public order.

The tableaux segment, a major attraction of the parade, showcased India’s rich cultural heritage, developmental achievements and regional uniqueness. Maharashtra topped the States and Union Territories category with its tableau on “Ganeshotsav: A Symbol of Aatmanirbharta,” portraying how traditional celebrations promote local enterprise and community participation.

Jammu and Kashmir secured second position with its presentation on “Handicrafts and Folk Dances of Jammu & Kashmir,” reflecting the region’s artistic legacy and vibrant traditions. Kerala ranked third with “Water Metro & 100% Digital Literacy: Aatmanirbhar Kerala for Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” highlighting innovation and digital empowerment.

Among Central Ministries and Departments, the Ministry of Culture won the Best Tableau award for “Vande Mataram – The Soul Cry of a Nation,” paying tribute to the patriotic song that inspired the freedom movement and national unity.

A Special Prize was awarded to the Central Public Works Department for “Vande Mataram – Commemoration of 150 Years,” while the ‘Vande Mataram: The Eternal Resonance of India’ dance group was honoured for its powerful performance celebrating patriotism.

The Republic Day Parade 2026 results reflect the collective spirit, creativity and commitment of the armed forces, police forces, states and institutions, reinforcing India’s message of unity, heritage and self-reliance.
