ACC Clears Key Extensions, Adl Charges & Repatriation Across Commerce, DPIIT, MeitY, MSME

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a series of tenure extensions, additional charge arrangements and repatriation across key ministries and departments.

Amit Mohan Govil, IRS (IT:1990), Director General, CEIB, gets six-month extension of additional charge as Director, FIU-India from February 11, 2026, till regular appointment or further orders.

Nidhi Kesarwani, IAS (2004), Joint Secretary, DPIIT, receives two-year extension in central deputation beyond June 3, 2026, continuing her role in key industrial policy and promotion initiatives.

Vimal Anand, IRS (IT:2003), Joint Secretary, Commerce Ministry, assigned additional charge as Development Commissioner, Noida SEZ for six months or till appointment of a regular incumbent.

Simmi Chaudhary, IES (1996), Economic Adviser, MSME Ministry, gets six-month extension as additional Financial Adviser, KVIC, Mumbai, from January 12, 2026, or until further orders.

Ajit Kumar, IAS (2006), Joint Secretary, MeitY, assigned additional charge as CEO, MyGov for six months from November 24, 2025, or till appointment of a regular incumbent.

Nand Kumarum, IAS (2008), President and CEO, NeGD, granted ex-post facto approval for holding additional charge as CEO, MyGov between July 9 and November 23, 2025.

Deen Bandhu Singh, CSS, relieved from additional charge as Development Commissioner, Noida SEZ, while continuing as Development Commissioner, Falta SEZ, Kolkata, following ACC curtailment approval.

Arunita Phukan Yadav, IRS (C&CE:2011), Executive Director, Tea Board, Guwahati, gets one-year extension in deputation from June 1, 2026, up to May 31, 2027.

Narain S. N., IRTS (2011), Private Secretary to MoS Petroleum, repatriated prematurely to parent cadre on personal grounds, with provision of extended cooling-off period approved by ACC.
