The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved premature repatriation of Vidya Jayant Kulkarni, IPS (Tamil Nadu cadre:1998), serving as Joint Director in CBI, to her parent cadre on personal grounds. The order also imposes an extended cooling-off condition under provisions of the IPS Tenure Policy.

Sonia Narang Gets One-Year CISF Deputation Extension

The ACC approved extension of deputation tenure of Sonia Narang, IPS (Karnataka cadre:2002), serving as Inspector General in CISF, for one year beyond April 6, 2026. The extension has been granted in relaxation of provisions of the IPS Tenure Policy.

Piyush Singla, IAS (AGMUT cadre:2012), has been appointed as Director in the National Health Authority–Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a co-terminus tenure linked with the mission duration.

Vinayak Bhat Named Private Secretary To V Somanna

The ACC approved appointment of Vinayak Bhat, IRS (C&IT:2009), as Private Secretary to Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways V. Somanna. His tenure as Director in Water Resources Department has been curtailed for the new assignment till May 28, 2028.
