Senior Officers Continue in Upgraded Roles After ACC Approval

The move reflects the government’s emphasis on administrative continuity, institutional stability, and sustained policy implementation across governance, finance, elections, digital transformation, and animal husbandry.
Shashi Ranjan Kumar, IAS (TR:1992)
The ACC has extended the temporary upgradation of the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission post from Additional Secretary to Secretary level. Shashi Ranjan Kumar will continue in the upgraded position until September 3, 2027.
Manoj Sahay, IA&AS (1994)
The ACC has approved extension of the upgraded post of Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor to Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Department of Expenditure. Manoj Sahay will hold the upgraded position until January 29, 2027.
Parama Sen, IA&AS (1994)
The temporary upgradation of the Joint Secretary post to Additional Secretary level in the Department of Expenditure has been extended. Parama Sen will continue serving in the upgraded position until August 2, 2027.
Varsha Joshi, IAS (AGMUT:1995)
The ACC has extended the upgraded status of the Joint Secretary post to Additional Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying. Varsha Joshi will continue in the enhanced role until December 5, 2026.
Maneesh Garg, IAS (HP:1996)
The upgraded post of Deputy Election Commissioner from Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary level has been extended. Maneesh Garg will continue in the Election Commission of India in the higher rank until September 1, 2027.
Amitesh Kumar Sinha, IRAS (1997)
The ACC has approved extension of the upgraded Joint Secretary post to Additional Secretary level in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Amitesh Kumar Sinha will continue in the upgraded assignment until August 9, 2027.
# Three Officers Appointed to Key Central Government Assignments Under Central Staffing Scheme
The Appointments Committee has also approved the appointments of three officers from the IAS, IRS and ITS services to important positions under the Central Staffing Scheme. The appointments strengthen key departments handling public asset management, digital health and the petroleum sector.

Shaleen, IAS (HY:2012), has been appointed as Director in the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Amreeta Titus, IRS (C&IT:2011)
Amreeta Titus, IRS (C&IT:2011), has been appointed as Director in the National Health Authority–Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission under the Department of Health & Family, Delhi, until July 3, 2027, or mission completion, whichever is earlier.
Mohit Kumar Aggarwal, ITS (2015)
Mohit Kumar Aggarwal, ITS (2015), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years from assuming charge or until further orders.
