On the second day of the US visit, Patel and the Gujarat delegation held a series of round-table conferences and one-to-one meetings with industry leaders from semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), education technology, health technology, gaming and deep technology sectors.

A major round-table conference brought together more than 100 leaders from the technology and semiconductor ecosystem. The discussions focused on emerging opportunities in Gujarat, technological collaboration, investment possibilities, innovation and the development of resilient supply chains.

Separate interactions were also organised with leading representatives from the edtech, health-tech and gaming industries. The engagements provided a platform for Gujarat to showcase its expanding technology ecosystem and discuss opportunities for global companies to establish operations, research facilities and strategic partnerships in the state.

In his interactions with global industry leaders, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel presented Gujarat not merely as an investment destination, but as a long-term strategic partner for future technologies, innovation ecosystems and global supply-chain development.

Patel invited global companies to participate in the upcoming **Vibrant Gujarat Summit in January 2027**, encouraging them to use the platform for B2B and B2G meetings and to explore concrete opportunities for collaboration with the state.

The Chief Minister emphasised Gujarat’s ambition to become an important hub for next-generation technologies, where investment, innovation, skilled talent, advanced infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities can converge to create long-term economic value.

MK Das, IAS, Chief Secretary, Gujarat, Sanjiv Kumar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Mamata Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries, were part of the senior leadership supporting the state’s engagement with global industry.

Their participation underscored Gujarat’s emphasis on connecting policy leadership with implementation and providing investors with a responsive institutional framework.

During the interactions, industry representatives appreciated Gujarat’s robust infrastructure, policy stability, streamlined approval mechanisms and proactive, business-friendly approach.

These attributes have increasingly strengthened the state’s appeal among companies looking for locations that can support both immediate investment requirements and long-term strategic expansion.

For technology-intensive sectors such as semiconductors, AI and deep tech, where infrastructure, reliable supply chains, skilled manpower and regulatory predictability are critical, Gujarat is seeking to build an ecosystem that goes beyond conventional industrial investment.
