By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of six 1995-batch IPS officers as Special Director Generals in CRPF, BSF and CISF, and Special Director in IB.

Sandeep Khirwar Appointed Special DG, CRPF

Sandeep Khirwar, IPS (HY:1995), currently ADG, CRPF, has been appointed Special Director General, CRPF, effective from assumption of charge until May 31, 2033, or further orders.

Puneet Rastogi Appointed Special DG, BSF

Puneet Rastogi, IPS (TR:1995), currently ADG, BSF, has been appointed Special Director General, BSF, effective from assumption of charge until June 30, 2030, or further orders.

Satish Khandare Appointed Special DG, BSF

Satish Shriramaji Khandare, IPS (AGMUT:1995), ADG, BSF, has been appointed Special Director General, BSF, with the temporarily downgraded post restored, until June 30, 2031.

Padmakar Ranipse Appointed Special DG, CISF

Padmakar S Ranipse, IPS (OD:1995), ADG, CISF, has been appointed Special Director General in CISF on in-situ basis through temporary upgradation, until his superannuation on May 31, 2028.

Rajesh Kumar Appointed Special DG, CRPF

Rajesh Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1995), ADG, CRPF, has been appointed Special Director General, CRPF, on in-situ basis through temporary upgradation, for two years from assumption of charge.

Jag Mohan Appointed Special Director, IB

Jag Mohan, IPS (BH:1995), Additional Director, Intelligence Bureau, has been appointed Special Director, IB, effective from assumption of charge until his superannuation on June 30, 2031, or further orders.
