By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has taken a significant step towards strengthening employee-centric service delivery with the launch of two new digital platforms aimed at making services more transparent, convenient and efficient for employees, retired personnel and their dependents.
At the Manthan Conference Hall at CCL Headquarters, Ranchi, CCL CMD Shri Nilendu Kumar Singh inaugurated the CPRMSE/NE 2.0 Portal and the Online Dependent Employment Portal, marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing digital transformation journey.
Speaking on the occasion, CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh highlighted the significance of developing both portals in-house. He described the initiative as a remarkable achievement that reflects CCL’s growing technical capabilities, innovative approach and commitment to improving service delivery.
He emphasized that the effective use of digital technology to provide simple, transparent and timely services to employees, retired personnel and their families remains a key priority for the company. He also congratulated the teams from the Labour Welfare, Retirement Benefits Fund Section and Systems Department for successfully developing and implementing the platforms.
According to CCL, these digital solutions are expected to make employee-related services more seamless while reducing procedural complexities and improving accessibility.
Hassle-Free Medical Claim Services for Retired Employees
The CPRMSE/NE 2.0 Portal is designed to make medical claim and reimbursement processes more convenient for retired employees. Through the online platform, beneficiaries can submit medical claims and related documents from the comfort of their homes.
The portal also enables retired employees to track the status of their claims online, reducing the need for repeated visits to offices and providing greater transparency throughout the process.
Simplifying Dependent Employment Procedures
The Online Dependent Employment Portal addresses another important employee welfare service by streamlining procedures related to employment or economic compensation for dependents of employees who die while in service.
By bringing the process onto a digital platform, CCL aims to make it simpler, more transparent and less cumbersome for affected families during a difficult period.
Technology at the Heart of Employee Welfare
The launch of the two portals represents more than just the introduction of new digital platforms. It reflects CCL’s broader effort to harness technology to make organisational processes more responsive and employee-friendly.
For serving employees, retired personnel and families of deceased employees, easier access to essential services can significantly reduce administrative hurdles. With online submission and tracking mechanisms, the new portals have the potential to improve accountability, speed up processing and create a more transparent service environment.
CCL’s latest initiative underlines a clear shift towards technology-enabled welfare administration, where digital innovation is being used not merely to modernise internal processes but to place convenience, transparency and timely service at the centre of employee welfare.
