The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a series of senior-level appointments and transfers involving IAS and IES officers across key ministries and departments. The orders, issued on September 25, 2026, include appointments at Additional Secretary level, along with new responsibilities in rural development, finance, steel, education, power, water resources and skill development.
