Tourism Secretary Leads Industry Consultation to Strengthen India’s Tourism Ecosystem

The session was attended by Managing Director, ITDC, Senior Economic Advisor, Ministry of Tourism, and representatives from the private and government sectors. The consultation provided an important platform for an open exchange of views on the opportunities and challenges confronting the tourism industry.

Discussions focused on the impact of various extraneous factors on tourism in the country and their implications for travel demand, hospitality, business operations and the broader tourism ecosystem.
