CBI Inducts Three IPS Officers and One IRS Officer as SPs on Deputation

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is set to induct four officers as Superintendents of Police (SP) on deputation, following approval of the competent authority. The appointments bring together officers from the Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Revenue Service (IRS), adding to the agency’s professional strength.
Ms. Tripti Bhatt, IPS (Uttarakhand cadre, 2013), Ms. G. Poonguzhali, IPS (Kerala cadre, 2014), and Juvvanapudi Mahesh, IPS (Kerala cadre, 2020), have been approved for deputation for five years each, subject to prescribed conditions. Abhishek Pradeepkumar Singh, IRS (Income Tax, 2017), has been approved for a three-year tenure.
The appointments will take effect from the respective dates of assumption of charge.
