By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the curtailment of the central deputation tenure of Deepali Masirkar, IPS (NL:2008), currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and her appointment as Executive Director (Security) in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. She will draw pay at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix. Her combined tenure will be up to May 3, 2029, from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She succeeds Baljit Singh, IPS (JH:1996).
Amandeep Garg’s Additional Charge as CPCB Chairman Extended
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of additional charge of Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), to Amandeep Garg, IAS (HP:1999), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, beyond October 8, 2026, until the appointment of a regular incumbent.
Manoj Sahay’s Central Deputation Extended Until September 2027
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of central deputation of Manoj Sahay, IA&AS (1994), Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, until September 30, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The approval also provides for temporary upgradation of the post to facilitate his continuation in the role.
Sunil Kumar’s Tenure in Department of Science and Technology Extended
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of central deputation tenure of Sunil Kumar, IFoS (PB:1995), Additional Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, until June 21, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The extension will continue through temporary upgradation of the post.
Vivek Rathee Appointed Deputy Secretary in Statistics Ministry
Vivek Rathee, IRS (C&IT:2016), has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. His tenure will be four years from assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He has been directed to be relieved immediately to take up the new assignment.
