A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC was felicitated during the 55th Boori Boot Yullo held in the forenoon of 6th February 2022 at Paro Basti, Kolaptukar, Distt. Kamle (Arunachal Pradesh) in the presence of Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Sh Tage Taki, Minister, Agriculture, Horticulture, AH & Vety, Dairy Development, Fisheries, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), NHPC, Vipin Gupta, Executive Director, Subansiri Lower Project, other NHPC officers & representatives of M/s SOMA, M/s Patel Engg., MIS TEXMACO & Mis General Electric were also present. The Deputy Chief Minister greatly appreciated NHPC’s efforts in development of hydropower & also assured his full support for early completion of ongoing projects of NHPC in the state. While addressing the gathering, CMD, NHPC extended his heartiest greetings for Boori Boot Yullo & highlighted the benefits of Hydropower Projects especially the 2000 MW Subansiri Lower & 2880 MW Dibang Multi-purpose Project which will bring all round prosperity to the region.
