Heart surgeries of 20 children successfully completed under SECL’s CSR initiative “SECL Ki Dhadkan”. Gift of Life program was organized for children being discharged in Raipur under the chief guestship of Director (Personnel) SECL Biranchi Das.Under the CSR initiative “SECL ki Dhadkan” of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), 20 children have been successfully operated for congenial heart disease,To commemorate this occasion, a Gift of Life program was organized at Sri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital for the children being discharged in Raipur today, 25 October 2024. Biranchi Das, Director (Personnel) SECL was present as the chief guest in the program organized and the program was presided over by C. Srinivasan, Chairman of Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust. In his statement, Das said that the objective of this scheme is to provide medical facilities to those children in our project affected areas, especially rural and tribal-dominated areas, who are suffering from serious heart related problems and are unable to afford the medical expenses, on this occasion Biranchi Das visited the operation theatre, neo-natal ward of the hospital and talked to the patients and inquired about their well-being. He talked to the hospital staff and also learned about the medical facilities. In the main program organized in the auditorium of the hospital, Das presented affection to the children being discharged and wished them a healthy and bright future.The beneficiaries of the scheme said that through this scheme of SECL, free treatment of our children was possible, for which we are very grateful to the SECL management.
