The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments

Extension in upgradation of the post of DS/Director to the level of Joint Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat, presently held by Ms. Indira Murthy, CSS, for term upto 30.10.2020 or until further orders,
whichever is earlier.

Extension in upgradation of the post of DS/Director to the level of Joint Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat, presently held by Shri Sandeep Sarkar, lDAS (1995), for term upto 02.07.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Extension in upgradation of the post of CEO/DG, NADA from the level of Director to the level of Joint Secretary in National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) under the Department of Sports, presently held
by Navin Agarwal, IPS (JK:1986), for term upto 26.06.2020 or until further orders, whichever is
earlier.

Appointment of Saurabh Jam, lAS (KL:2002) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs with additional charge of the post of Commissioner (JS level), Eklavya Model Residential School Society (EMRSS) by utilizing the available post of Commissioner, EMRSS in Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary (Director level) to Additional Secretary (JS level) in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), presently held by S R.K. Gathwal, CSS, for the
third year upto 07.09.2018 and for the fourth year upto 07.09.2019, on ex-post facto basis and for the fifth
year for term upto 07.09.2020 or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Adjustment of appointment of Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS(UT:1995), who was holding the post of Joint Secretary against a temporarily upgraded post of Director level, to the available regular vacancy of
Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce and restoration of the upgraded post to its original status.

And Adjustment of appointment of Shri Sudhir Garg, IRSEE (1986), who was holding the post of Joint Secretary against a temporarily upgraded post of Director level, to the available regular vacancy of Joint
Secretary in the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and restoration of the upgraded post to its original status.
