The appointments are aimed at strengthening administrative leadership in governance, finance, agriculture, infrastructure, social justice, disaster management, and public administration.

• Avanish Kumar Mishra appointed Joint Secretary, DARPG

Avanish Kumar Mishra, ISS (2000), has been appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, for an overall tenure up to November 18, 2029.

• Abhijit Phukon appointed Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department

Abhijit Phukon, IES (2004), has been appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, for five years, succeeding Neha Verma, IFoS.

• Anish Kumar appointed Joint Secretary, Atomic Energy

Anish Kumar, IRSE (Civil) (2001), has been appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, with tenure continuing up to May 23, 2028.

• Satish Kumar appointed Coal Controller
