By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved two significant senior-level appointments in major public sector financial and insurance institutions, reinforcing leadership capacity and strengthening institutional governance in the banking and insurance sectors.

Manikumar Sivaramakrishnan has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of IFCI Ltd for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders. Presently serving as Chief General Manager at NABARD, he brings extensive experience in development finance, institutional banking, and rural credit management to the role.

S. Sivasankar has been appointed as Executive Director in New India Assurance Company Limited following approval by the ACC. Currently General Manager at National Insurance Company Limited, he will serve in Level 14A pay scale until attaining superannuation on July 31, 2028, or until further orders, strengthening leadership in India’s largest public sector general insurer.
