Ashwin Shenvi’s Deputation in CBI Extended
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of deputation tenure of Ashwin Shenvi, IPS (HY:2006), Joint Director, CBI. His tenure has been extended for one year beyond 6 September 2025, taking his total deputation period in the premier investigative agency to six years.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the extension of services of Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy and Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission. His tenure has been extended for six months with effect from 11 October 2025, ensuring continuity in leadership at the helm of India’s atomic energy establishment.
