The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Ministry of Home Affairs’ proposal for extension in upgradation of the posts of Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration in Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Bishnu Charan Mallick (RJ:2007) and Nirupama J. Dange (MH:2007) will continue at Joint Secretary level till 31.12.2025.

The ACC has also cleared the Ministry of Defence proposal for extension of central deputation tenure of Dinesh Kumar (NL:2004), Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, for one year beyond 06.12.2025.

Further, the ACC has approved extension of central deputation tenure of Mahmood Ahmed in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways until 25.10.2027.
