By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared several important appointments and charge assignments across ministries, as detailed below:

Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS (HY:2000)
A 2000 batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre, presently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has been given additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) with effect from October 25, 2025, until Neeraj Kharwal, IAS (UK:2007) assumes charge as Managing Director, ITPO.

Anil Kumar
Anil Kumar, Chief General Manager, National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, has been entrusted with additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), NDFDC for a period of six months from September 12, 2025, to March 11, 2026, as approved by the ACC.

K.R.S. Krishnam Naidu, IRS (IT:2015)
A 2015 batch IRS (Income Tax) officer, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications (Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani) in the Ministry of Rural Development, at the level of Deputy Secretary, for a period up to November 20, 2027, or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister, whichever is earlier.

Nalina Sofia T, IRS (C&IT:2010)
A 2010 batch officer of the IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes), has been appointed as Director in NITI Aayog, New Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Alok Malviya, IRS (IT:2006)
A 2006 batch IRS (Income Tax) officer, presently serving as Director in the Department of Commerce, has been granted extension of Central Deputation tenure for a further period of one year beyond October 12, 2025, up to October 12, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He has been on Central Deputation since October 13, 2020.
