ACC Approves Key CVO Appointments and Tenure Extensions in PSEs

(THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM) The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has recently approved several appointments and tenure extensions for Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) across Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs).

Jagdish Khima Rathod, a 2002-batch CPES officer, will continue as CVO of Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways. His tenure has been extended until June 2, 2027.

Piyush Ranjan, from the Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) 2002 batch, has been appointed as CVO of Engineering Projects India Ltd. (EPIL), Delhi, under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, with a tenure lasting until June 14, 2027.

Bhagwandas Gajbiate, a 2008-batch IOFS officer, has been designated as CVO of Manganese Ore India Ltd. (MOIL), Nagpur, under the Ministry of Steel. His term will run until March 22, 2027.

The ACC has also extended the tenure of two serving CVOs. Pratima Gupta, a 1992-batch IOFS officer, will continue as CVO of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Delhi, under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, with an extension until June 12, 2027.

These decisions reinforce the government’s commitment to strengthening vigilance oversight in key public sector entities.
