Central Government Approves Key Cadre Movements and Deputation Extensions

Kuldeep Dwivedi gets two-year extension in CBI tenure:
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Personnel and Training for extension in deputation tenure of Kuldeep Dwivedi, IPS (JH:2005), Joint Director, CBI, for two years beyond 17.01.2026, making it a total of seven years in CBI.

V. Hekali Zhimomi repatriated to parent cadre:
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the repatriation of V. Hekali Zhimomi, IAS (UP:1996), Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, to her parent cadre on the request of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Karan Thapar’s deputation tenure extended in DPIIT:
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade for extension in Central deputation tenure of Karan Thapar, IRS (C&CE:2009), Director, DPIIT, for one year beyond 16.02.2026 and up to 16.02.2027 under the Central Staffing Scheme.
