ACC Clears Extensions, Curtailments and Repatriations of Senior Bureaucrats

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a series of key decisions relating to extension, curtailment, repatriation, and additional charge entrustments of senior officers under the Central Staffing Scheme across various ministries and departments. The details are as follows:
Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS (AP:1993)
The ACC has cancelled the appointment of Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS (AP:1993), as Chief Executive Officer, National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA).
Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda, IAS (OD:1997)
The ACC has accorded ex-post facto approval for entrustment of additional charge of CEO, NRAA to Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda, IAS (OD:1997), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, for six months with effect from 15.07.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Sachindra Kumar Patnaik, IRSS (1997)
The ACC has approved premature repatriation of Sachindra Kumar Patnaik, IRSS (1997), Executive Director (North Zone), Food Corporation of India, Noida, to his parent cadre on administrative grounds with an extended cooling-off condition.
M. Beena, IAS (KL:1999)
The ACC has approved extension in the central deputation tenure of M. Beena, IAS (KL:1999), Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, for one year beyond 03.10.2025 i.e., up to 03.10.2026.
Chetan Prakash Jain, IRPS (1995)
The ACC has approved extension of deputation tenure of Chetan Prakash Jain, IRPS (1995), Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, up to 16.12.2026.
Naval Kishor, IOFS (2003)
The ACC has approved extension in the central deputation tenure of Naval Kishor, IOFS (2003), Director, Department of Revenue, for one year beyond 28.10.2025 i.e., up to 28.10.2026.
Juhi Mukherjee, IAS (AGMUT:2007)
The ACC has approved extension in the central deputation tenure of Juhi Mukherjee, IAS (AGMUT:2007), Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, for two years beyond 13.10.2025.
Saurabh Kumar Tiwari, Additional Secretary, DBT Mission
The ACC has approved extension of central deputation tenure of Saurabh Kumar Tiwari, Additional Secretary, Direct Benefit Transfer Mission, Cabinet Secretariat, beyond 10.12.2025 till his superannuation on 30.09.2027.
Mrithinjai Srikanthan, IRS (C&IT:2013)
The ACC has approved curtailment of the central deputation tenure of Mrithinjai Srikanthan, IRS (C&IT:2013), Deputy Secretary, Department of Expenditure.
Ashish Gupta, IRSME (2014)
The ACC has approved extension of central deputation tenure of Ashish Gupta, IRSME (2014), Deputy Secretary, Department of Rural Development, for two years beyond 30.12.2025 i.e., up to 30.12.2027.
