The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved one-year extension for Ajit Kumar Mohanty as Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy and Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission from April 11, 2026.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet appointed Vishvajit Sahay as Secretary (Defence Finance) from May 1, 2026, succeeding Raj Kumar Arora upon his retirement on April 30, 2026.
