The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of Pawan Kumar Sharma, IAS (MP:1999), for holding Additional Secretary/Additional Secretary Equivalent level posts at the Centre. Sharma, a senior bureaucrat from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, is now eligible to take up higher responsibilities in the Government of India.
