Today in the selection meeting the PESB has recommended the name of Amitabh Banerjee, for the post of Managing Director, Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), Amitabh Banerjee is presently serving as Director (Finance) in Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL). There were as many as three candidates who appeared in the interview.
