BEL registers 46% growth in 2nd Quarter

Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a Net Turnover of Rs. 2431.73 Cr, during the 2nd quarter of FY 2017-18, registering a growth of about 46%, over the Net Turnover of Rs. 1664.38 Cr recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) during the 2nd quarter of FY 2017-18 stood at Rs. 587.03 Cr, registering a growth of about 26% over the Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 464.07 Cr recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit After Tax (PAT) during the 2nd quarter of FY 2017-18 stood at Rs. 412.39 Cr,registering a growth of about 19% over the Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 346.25 Cr recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Six months’ period
The Company has achieved a Net Turnover of Rs. 4126.28 Cr, up to First Half of the FY 2017-18, registering a growth of about 64% over the Net Turnover of Rs. 2518.69 Cr recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the First half of FY 2017-18 stood at Rs. 766.30 Cr, registering a growth of about 49% over the Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 512.66 Cr recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit After Tax (PAT) for the First half of FY 2017-18 stood at Rs. 537.71 Cr, registering a growth of about 41% over the Profit After Tax (PAT ) of Rs. 382.34 Cr recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The order book position of the company as on 1st October, 2017 stood at Rs. 41746 Cr.
