By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| In a landmark move aimed at expanding financial access, BSE has signed an MoU with the Department of Posts (DoP), Ministry of Communications, Government of India, to distribute mutual fund products through India Post’s extensive national network. The agreement was formalised in New Delhi by Sundararaman Ramamurthy, MD & CEO of BSE, and Ms. Manisha Bansal Badal, General Manager (CCS & RB), DoP, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
This collaboration brings together India Post’s unmatched last-mile connectivity — particularly in rural and semi-urban areas — with BSE’s StAR MF platform, the country’s largest online ecosystem for mutual fund distribution. By integrating BSE’s digital infrastructure with India Post’s trusted outreach, the partnership aims to make investment services more accessible, transparent, and convenient for millions.
The initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening financial literacy and broadening retail participation in wealth-creation avenues, reinforcing the government’s commitment to inclusive and technology-driven financial growth.
