The post of Joint Secretary is falling vacant in the Ministry of Tourism in September 2015

  Outgoing Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth has been appointed Chairman of the PESB. He is former 1974 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

The Supreme Court has ordered that the Aadhar card will be optional for availing various welfare schemes of the government. It said this and ordered that no personal information of the holders of such cards shall be shared by any authority.
