The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued Office Order No. 134/2025, effecting the transfer and posting of 47 senior officers in the grades of Additional Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner.

The reshuffle includes movements across key Directorates such as DG Vigilance, DG Systems, DG Audit, DGHRD, as well as various Customs and GST & Central Excise Zones.

Among the notable changes: Marut Tripathi (Additional Commissioner) proceeds on deputation to DG Systems, Delhi; Pawan Kumar Sharma (ADC) moves from DG Vigilance, Delhi to DG Audit, Delhi; Manoj Kumar (ADC) shifts from DG Systems, Delhi to DG Vigilance, Delhi; Reshma Ravindra Kurup (Joint Commissioner) joins DG Vigilance, Delhi on deputation; and A. Venkadesh Babu (JC) takes charge in the Thiruvananthapuram GST & CX Zone.

Mukesh Kumar (JC) moves from Chennai Customs to DG Vigilance, Chennai; T. Senthil Kumar (JC) from DG Vigilance, Chennai to DG Systems, Chennai; and Vijay Kumar Sharma (JC) from DG Systems, Chennai to DG Vigilance, Jaipur. Several Deputy Commissioners, including Safdar Ali, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Arvind Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, R. Prakash, Vinod Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Shweta Singh, and Suresh Kumar, have been reassigned between various DG Vigilance and DG Systems offices across Delhi, Chennai, Jaipur, Lucknow, Ranchi, and Chandigarh.

The order also sees multiple inter-post transfers within DG Vigilance and DG Systems in Delhi, affecting officers such as Neeraj Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Surender Kumar, Lokesh Kumar, Gaurav Kumar, Arjun Kumar, Bharat Kumar, Yogesh Kumar, Mukul Kumar, Raju Kumar, and Anil Kumar.

CBIC’s latest reshuffle aims to strengthen operational efficiency and optimise manpower deployment across its field formations and directorates.
