Amit Sharma appointed as Director of Census Operations, J&K and Ladakh
Amit Sharma, IAS (AGMUT:2012), has been selected for appointment as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Deputy Secretary level), Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on a full-time basis. His tenure will be effective from the date of assumption of charge up to December 31, 2025.
Yuvraj Pal Singh appointed as Deputy Secretary in MoEF&CC
Yuvraj Pal Singh, IRS (IT) (2015), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Vineet Joshi given additional charge of Secretary, School Education & Literacy
The Competent Authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, to Vineet Joshi, IAS (MN:1992), Secretary, Department of Higher Education, from November 8 to November 16, 2025, during the leave of Sanjay Kumar, IAS (BH:1990).
Debashree Mukherjee assigned additional charge of Secretary, MSME
Ms. Debashree Mukherjee, IAS (AGMUT:1991), Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, from November 8 to November 16, 2025, during the leave period of Subhas Chandra Lal Das, IAS (AGMUT:1992).
Bhupinder Kumar appointed as Director in Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas
Bhupinder Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:2011), has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years. He has been directed to take up his new assignment immediately.
Vinay Sheel Gautam appointed as Director in Ministry of Cooperation
Vinay Sheel Gautam, IRS (IT) (2009), has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Cooperation, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years or until further orders. He has been instructed to assume charge at the earliest.
P. Hemalatha’s additional charge as Secretary, Spices Board extended
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of entrustment of additional charge of Secretary (JS Level), Spices Board, to Ms. P. Hemalatha, IAS (KN:2000), Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ, for three months from October 24, 2025, to January 23, 2026.
Ajay Bhadoo’s additional charge as DGFT extended
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of additional charge of Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, to Ajay Bhadoo, IAS (GJ:1999), Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, from October 21, 2025, to January 20, 2026.
